🕯️ What is the Seven-Wick Seven African Powers Candle used for?
It is traditionally used to make general requests for protection, opening of pathways and spiritual aid.
Unlike other candles designed for a single intention, this one symbolically brings together the strength of the seven greatest orishas, allowing you to work on different aspects of life within a single ritual.
Traditionally it's used for:
- Unblock pathways.
- Ask for spiritual protection.
- Favour personal growth.
- Seek help during challenging times.
- Balance different aspects of your life.
✨ The Seven African Powers
The Seven African Powers represent the spiritual union of seven of the most important orishas in the Yoruba and Afro-Caribbean tradition. Each one symbolises a different force of nature and of human experience. Their union represents the balance between all those energies, allowing you to make complete requests in search of protection, guidance and prosperity.
- ⚪ Obatalá · Peace, purity, balance and mental clarity.
- 🔴 Elegguá · Opening of paths and removal of obstacles.
- 🟢 Orula · Wisdom, intuition and spiritual guidance.
- ⚫ Oggún · Work, strength, effort and overcoming.
- 🔥 Changó · Justice, courage, leadership and victory.
- 🔵 Yemayá · Protection, family, motherhood and emotional balance.
- 🟡 Oshún · Love, abundance, prosperity and sweetness.
When invoked together, the Seven African Powers symbolise a complete protection that accompanies all areas of life.
🕯️ What are 7-Wick Candles for?
The 7-Wick Candles are one of the most traditional formats used within energy cleansing rituals, thanks to the power generated by the simultaneous combustion of their seven flames.
Each of the wicks symbolises an energetic working point, acting together to encourage the removal of blockages and the cleansing of those energies we feel are holding us back.
🌙 When should you light a 7-Wick Candle?
As this is a cleansing and cutting work, we recommend lighting it always during the Waning Moon or the Last Quarter, phases traditionally associated with release, elimination and the closing of cycles.
We don't recommend using these candles during the Waxing Moon, as this phase is connected to expansion and attraction, whilst the 7-Wick Candles work precisely the opposite process: to cleanse before building.
📜 Includes instructions and prayer
All our 7-Wick Candles include a sheet with the instructions for use and the corresponding prayer, so you can carry out the work easily whilst following tradition.
⚖️ 7 Wicks or 21 Wicks?
Both the 7-Wick Candles and the 21-Wick Candles are intended for energy cleansing and unblocking work. The difference between the two lies in the intensity of the work: the 21-Wick Candle, having a greater number of flames, generates more powerful energetic work and is usually recommended for very persistent situations or when you wish to perform a deeper cleanse. The 7-Wick Candle is an excellent choice for most everyday energy cleansings and unblocking work.

Saludos,
Gracias !!!
