Attraction · Sweetness · Passion
Love is also tended with small gestures. This ritual mix is made for sweetening: opening the heart, drawing love in, rekindling closeness with a partner or, quite simply, making peace with yourself.
It brings together the sweetness of sugar, the scent of roses and the warmth of spices in a jar prepared by hand, layer by layer.
🫙 What it contains and what each element stands for
- Brown sugar: the basis of all sweetening. It stands for softening, attracting and making bonds sweeter.
- Rose petals: the flower of love in every tradition.
- Cloves: associated with attraction and with kindling passion.
- Cinnamon stick: warmth, desire and an energy that speeds up what is asked for.
- Rose quartz: the stone of love and self-love, of tenderness and reconciliation.
- Clear quartz: the great amplifier, which intensifies the intention of the ritual.
- Amethyst: emotional balance, so that love arrives from a place of calm.
🕯️ How to use it
- Choose your moment. Friday, the day of Venus, and the waxing moon are traditionally the most suitable for attracting.
- Place your love candle on a heat-resistant plate and surround it with the mix, keeping the petals and cinnamon away from the flame.
- Set the rose quartz in front of the candle, light it and think clearly about what you want: to attract, to rekindle, to heal or to love yourself more.
- Let the candle burn down safely and never leave it unattended.
- Afterwards, you can keep a few petals and the rose quartz in a small pouch, under your pillow or on your bedside table.
❓ Frequently asked questions
Does it work for self-love too?
Yes, and it is one of its loveliest uses. Rose quartz is linked to love for others and love for oneself alike, so the ritual works just the same if what you want is to make peace with yourself.
When is the best time to do it?
Friday, the day of Venus, and the waxing moon are the ones tradition points to for anything to do with attracting.
What do I do with the petals afterwards?
Keep a few along with the rose quartz in a small pouch, under your pillow or on your bedside table. The rest you can clear away as normal.
