Traditionally used to help cleanse the aura and create a protective atmosphere, these ritual incense sticks are beautifully suited to those seeking to guard against the evil eye and negative energies.
Across countless cultures and spiritual traditions, the evil eye is understood as a form of negative energy — whether sent intentionally or not — that can affect one's wellbeing, mood and fortune. These handcrafted ritual incense sticks have been thoughtfully blended with herbs, resins and aromatic ingredients traditionally associated with purification, spiritual shielding and the removal of unwanted energies.
Lighting one of these sticks with clear intention may help to create a sacred atmosphere of cleansing and protection, supporting you as you work to restore balance and harmony to your space and spirit.
The aromatic blend in these incense sticks draws upon ingredients long favoured in folk magic, curanderismo and esoteric traditions for their reputed ability to dispel mal de ojo — the evil eye. The rising smoke is symbolically associated with carrying away negativity and forming an invisible veil of protection around the home, body or sacred space.
These sticks are ideally suited to use during spiritual cleansing rituals, prayer, meditation, or simply to refresh the energy of a room that feels heavy or stagnant. Whether you are protecting yourself, a loved one or your home, the ritual act of burning incense with focused intention has been honoured across traditions for centuries.
Light the tip of the incense stick and allow it to catch flame for a few seconds before gently blowing it out, letting the ember glow and the smoke rise freely. Place it securely in a suitable incense holder. As the smoke fills your space, take a moment to breathe deeply and set your intention clearly — whether that is protection, cleansing or simply peace of mind.
You may choose to move the burning stick around the perimeter of a room, around your body, or allow it to burn undisturbed in a central spot. Always burn incense in a well-ventilated area and never leave it unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
