How are they made?

The candle manufacturing process is the key moment to endow them with a special energy and vibration that will accompany us in our requests. At Las Velas de Mariano we preserve the artisanal manufacturing styles used in ancient times, and one of the most powerful has always been layer-by-layer manufacturing.

Through this artisanal elaboration, the candle is formed, starting with the wick and a first layer of wax. Each layer that is applied shapes the candle, until the wax has the desired thickness. Finally, the interior of the candle is formed by an exact number of circles, which are visible when we burn it. These remind us of the structure inside a tree when we see it cut down.

In this case, our candles have 44 layers or circles, in order to work with the vibration of the master number. In addition, with this style of craftsmanship we symbolize the tree of life, where the natural vibration of the trees will help us attract positive energies and good wishes, both to the person who makes the request and to their environment.  < /p>

About our craftsmanship…

At Las Velas de Mariano we preserve manufacturing methods from the 18th century, which is why we make unique pieces with attention to detail. In our manufacture we only use pure waxes, and we carry out a ritualization and purification process before starting with the manufacture of candles and candles. In addition, we seek to always work with noble materials of natural origin to maintain the purity of our product. We use special alloy molds, just like the ancient alchemists did, and our wicks are braided from 100% natural cotton with specific thicknesses for the correct combustion of each candle.

Many of our candles also come flavored with herbs, plants and salts. Some of them are visible from the outside, but others we only see when the wax has already been consumed. These added ingredients are special mixtures used as remedies in ancient times, and are different for each request.
