A hand-gathered bundle of dried blue sage, traditionally used for cleansing spaces, clearing stagnant energy and creating a calm, sacred atmosphere.
For centuries, sage has been revered across many spiritual traditions as one of nature's most powerful cleansing herbs. Our Blue Sage Smudge Bundle is carefully hand-gathered and naturally dried, preserving its aromatic potency and sacred essence. Whether you are new to the practice of smudging or a seasoned ritualist, this bundle offers a beautifully grounded way to honour the spaces you inhabit and the energy you carry.
Blue sage — sometimes known as grandmother sage — is traditionally associated with wisdom, clarity and spiritual protection. Its gentle, slightly sweet smoke is believed to help dissolve energetic blockages and invite a renewed sense of peace and presence. It is beautifully suited to use during meditation, after conflict or tension in the home, before and after spiritual work, or simply whenever a space feels heavy or in need of refreshing. Many practitioners also use it to cleanse crystals, altar tools and personal objects of accumulated energy.
To begin, open a window or door to allow stagnant energy a pathway to leave. Light the tip of your sage bundle with a candle or match, then gently blow out the flame so the bundle smoulders and releases its aromatic smoke. Using a feather, your hand or a smudging fan, guide the smoke around the space, object or person you wish to cleanse — moving with intention and awareness. When you have finished, gently press the bundle into a heatproof dish or abalone shell to extinguish it safely. Never leave a smouldering bundle unattended.
Invite stillness, clarity and renewed energy into your everyday life with the timeless ritual of smudging.
